Quick verdict: Crescent 9 is a hemp-derived THC seltzer from Crescent Canna of New Orleans, sold in 10, 20 and 50 mg cans. I drank the 20 mg Sour Watermelon. It tastes clean, with no weed flavor, and it kicked in fast, around 15 minutes, with a smooth, clear, social buzz. Score: 8.5/10. Best for: experienced drinkers who want a strong dose that still tastes like a normal seltzer. Skip it if: you are new to THC. Code PROTECTHEMP takes 20% off (not valid on powders).

What is Crescent 9?

Crescent 9 is the seltzer line from Crescent Canna, based in New Orleans. The brand site lists three single-flavor seltzers as of October 12, 2026:

Flavor Dose (brand site)
Grape Lemonade 10 mg THC
Sour Watermelon 20 mg THC
Strawberry Lemonade 50 mg THC

It also sells variety packs and a 10 mg THC spirit alternative called Ellora. The THC is hemp-derived delta-9, and the brand says products are tested at independent ISO 17025 labs. Check the can for the batch QR code before you drink.

What I tested

I drank Crescent 9 Sour Watermelon, the 20 mg can. It is a sparkling seltzer.

How it tasted

Clean. Sour Watermelon tastes like a regular flavored seltzer, and I got no weed taste going down or on the finish. That is the hard part with a 20 mg can, since higher doses usually mean more cannabis flavor. Crescent hides it well.

How it hit

Flavor / dose Onset Feel
Sour Watermelon, 20 mg About 15 minutes Smooth, clear, social

It came on fast for a 20 mg drink, and it stayed smooth instead of heavy. If you are used to 5 or 10 mg, sip half the can and wait 20 minutes before finishing it. Food in your stomach slows onset, so your numbers may differ from mine.

Price and discount code

The brand site listed 12-packs and 24-packs from $65 and $80 for the 10 mg and 20 mg flavors on October 12, 2026. Code PROTECTHEMP takes 20% off (not valid on powders). Free shipping over $99. Shipping to your state depends on local law. All my other codes are on the THC drink discount codes page.

Who should buy it, who should skip it

  • Buy if you already handle 10 mg comfortably and want a stronger can that does not taste like cannabis.
  • Skip if you are new to THC. Start at 2 to 3 mg with Cann (code ALEXANDER15) or a WIMS packet (code ALEXANDER15), then read my dosing guide.
  • The 50 mg Strawberry Lemonade is five times a 10 mg standard. I tested the 20 mg; treat the 50 mg as a can to split.

Is Crescent 9 legal after December 11?

Federal hemp products above 0.4 mg total THC per container lose hemp protection on December 11, 2026, and every Crescent 9 can is above that line. State law varies. See my hemp ban explainer and where to buy THC drinks before December 11. Florida readers: THC drinks in Florida.
