Best THC Drinks of 2026: 13 Cannabis Beverages Worth Your Money (Tested)

Last updated: July 2026 · Written by Lars Miller, founder of Herbal Profiles, the weekly cannabis beverage newsletter read by 3,300+ industry insiders.

The best THC drinks in 2026 are CANN for social sessions, Cycling Frog for value, Cantrip for dose range, Fable for a craft cocktail experience. I’ve personally tested every brand on this list, and I review THC beverages every week for the industry itself: founders, buyers, and retailers read this newsletter. Here’s where your money is best spent.

THC drinks are cannabis-infused beverages, mostly seltzers, sodas, and drink mixers, that deliver a measured dose of THC without smoke or alcohol. Fast-acting emulsions put the onset at 10 to 25 minutes, which makes them the closest thing cannabis has to a cocktail.

How to Choose Your First THC Drink

Match the dose to your experience, not the flavor to your taste buds. Flavor matters once the dose is right.

  • Never tried THC: start at 2 to 3mg. One CANN, or one WIMS packet stirred into your own drink.
  • Occasional user: 5mg carries a social evening. That’s half of most standard seltzers.
  • Regular consumer: the 10mg standard can. Wynk, Cycling Frog, Keef, and most of this list.
  • High tolerance: Cantrip and Crescent 9 run up to 50mg per can. Skip these entirely if you’re new.

How I Test THC Drinks

Every brand here passed the same process: I drink it, time the onset, log calories and sugar from the label, compare price per serving against the category, and cross-check my experience against reader feedback from the Herbal Profiles community. I make money from some of the links below, and the opinions stay mine. When a product disappoints, I say so in the review.

Community sentiment in this guide draws on Thingtesting, Reviews.io, and press-documented user reviews. Reddit blocks automated collection, so Reddit voices appear where journalists quoted them.

CANN: Best Overall

CANN set the template for the modern cannabis drink: a 2mg THC + 4mg CBD social tonic that swaps one-to-one for a glass of wine. Lemon Lavender, Blood Orange Cardamom, and Grapefruit Rosemary taste like craft cocktails, and the Hi-Boys line covers drinkers who want more than a microdose. Five years in, it remains the brand I hand to first-timers. Read my full CANN review.

Shop CANN with code LMM15 for 15% off.

What other drinkers say: On Thingtesting, CANN holds 4.5 stars across 90 reviews, and the crowd repeats what I found: flavors that taste like real cocktails and a buzz that stays light and controllable. The same reviews flag 2mg as too weak for tolerance and the price as premium. BDS Analytics has tracked it as California’s #1-selling THC beverage, and it won BevNET’s New Beverage Showdown in 2019. One Reddit user quoted by Vice called it “mellow, drinkable, and nice for sipping in the sun.”

Cycling Frog: Best Value

Ten calories, a 15-minute onset, and $20 for a six-pack. The Black Currant pours like a light fruit wine and the can helpfully equates one serving to one martini. Nothing else at this price drinks this well. Full Cycling Frog review.

Shop Cycling Frog.

What other drinkers say: Cycling Frog keeps winning other people’s taste tests too: Hop Culture’s Top 11 THC drinks of 2025, Leafly’s best-of list, and category roundups that note it consistently takes the highest blind-taste marks. Its 3.4 Thingtesting score reads worse than it is; the product reviews are positive and the score is dragged down by two wholesale shipping complaints.

WIMS: Most Versatile

WIMS makes snap-and-squeeze packets (4mg THC + 4mg CBD) that turn any beverage into a THC drink in seconds. Onset runs 10 to 15 minutes, and the unflavored version disappears into whatever you’re already drinking. The travel answer for the category.

Shop WIMS; current code on our codes page.

What other drinkers say: WIMS has the deepest verified review base in this post: 4.6 stars across 77 Thingtesting reviews, 91% would recommend. The repeated theme is alcohol replacement, as in one reviewer’s “I’ve replaced my nightly wine with these.” The repeated gripe: 4mg runs light, and plenty of people snap two packets. Forbes profiled the pocket-tonic format in June 2025.

Willie’s Remedy+: Premium Pick

Willie’s Remedy+ pairs high-end bottle design with wine-like, uplifting effects and a fast 10-to-15-minute onset. Around $4.11 per serving puts it firmly in premium territory, and the Black Cherry Lime and POG seltzers earn it.

Shop Willie’s Remedy+ with code LMM10.

What other drinkers say: Independent user reviews are scarce here, so the evidence is critic-side: Tastings.com scored the Social Tonic 95 points, and the recurring press question is price, with one review literally titled “Is It Worth $70 a Bottle?” My answer stays the same: it drinks like the premium product it charges you for.

Cantrip: Widest Dose Range

Cantrip runs from standard 10mg sodas to 50mg extra-strength cans plus a spirit-style Elixir line, all with smooth, familiar flavors and none of the weed aftertaste that plagues high-dose drinks. Heavy consumers transitioning from smoking land here.

Shop Cantrip for 15% off through this link.

What other drinkers say: Cantrip is press-validated but review-invisible: a BevNET Best of 2025 nominee whose sodas reviewers describe as tasting like real classic American soda with a fast onset, yet zero Thingtesting reviews so far. If you like being early to things, this is the one.

Crescent Canna: High-Dose Value

Crescent 9 seltzers reach 50mg, act within 15 minutes, and cost less per milligram than nearly anything comparable. Over 4,000 five-star reviews and features in Forbes and High Times back up the value story. Beginners should start elsewhere; experienced consumers should start here. Shop Crescent Canna.

What other drinkers say: The numbers are hard to argue with: Nielsen-verified #1-selling THC drink in US grocery, liquor, and convenience stores as of September 2025, a Forbes 4/20 2026 list pick, and an Axios story marking the millionth can sold. The recurring user caveat matches mine: the high can lean sleepy, so treat the 50mg cans with respect.

Fable: Craft Cocktail Experience

Fable builds complex, award-winning drinks with visible real ingredients: Into the Woods layers peach and stone fruit over pine and rosemary, Night Flight runs blackberry into a peppery ginger-hibiscus finish. Balanced 5mg THC + 3mg CBD cans suit slow sipping, with 10mg options available. At $5.70 to $7.10 per can, it prices like the craft product it is. Shop Fable.

What other drinkers say: USA Today’s For The Win graded the flavors A, A, and B+ and called the lineup “weird and worthwhile,” which is exactly right. It took top honors at WSWA Access Live 2024 and the LA Times High Spirits Awards 2023. Thingtesting shows 5.0 stars but from only 6 reviews, some brand-connected, so weigh the critics over the crowd here.

Wynk: Best Zero-Sugar Session Drink

Wynk makes crisp, zero-sugar THC seltzers built as a true alcohol alternative, with fast-acting effects and calories low enough to ignore. Shop Wynk with code liftoff20.

What other drinkers say: Wynk’s Thingtesting record backs the pick: 4.6 stars across 68 reviews, 95% would recommend, repeating the same zero-sugar, no-hangover, reliable-mild-buzz case. Forbes put it on its 4/20 2026 best-brands list. The one recurring flavor complaint targets Juicy Mango, which one reviewer said “tastes like the smell of mangos rather than the taste of them.”

Keef: Best THC Soda

If you want soda rather than seltzer, Keef’s Orange Kush nails classic orange soda with a 13-minute onset. Full sugar, full nostalgia. Read my complete Keef Orange Kush review, or shop Keef.

What other drinkers say: Keef has the longest trophy shelf in the category: a 2015 High Times Cannabis Cup win for its Bubba Kush Root Beer and BDS Analytics’ #1 cannabis beverage brand in the US since 2020. On Keef’s own site, Orange Kush holds 4.9 stars across 28 reviews with the same theme I found, real orange-soda nostalgia without the edible aftertaste. One heavy-tolerance reviewer reported it “got me lightly toasted, which usually takes twice that amount.” Budget for the sugar: 130 calories and 34 grams per can.

Dad Grass: Best Newcomer

Dad Grass built its name on mellow CBD pre-rolls and brought the same low-key philosophy to its Leisure Drinks: 3mg and 10mg cans in flavors like Yuzu Grapefruit Mint and Jalapeño Lime, rounded out with CBD, lion’s mane, and L-theanine. The category noticed. Dad Grass won BevNET’s New Beverage Showdown 31 in 2026, the same pitch competition that crowned Health-Ade and Poppi, and its Miles Davis Bitches Brew collaboration turned a THC drink into a cultural release. Onset runs 10 to 20 minutes on a water-soluble formula.

Shop Dad Grass.

Cornbread Hemp: Best for THC Purists

Kentucky’s Cornbread Hemp makes the straightest seltzer on this list: 5mg of pure delta-9 per can, no CBD, no caffeine, 30 calories, felt in 15 to 45 minutes. Vice reviewed the line in 2026 and Katie Couric Media used it to explain the entire category. Flavors run Blueberry Breeze, Raspberry Limeade, Peach Iced Tea, and Salted Watermelon, shipping to 47 states at about $5.62 per can.

Shop Cornbread Hemp.

oHHo: Best Botanical Flavors

Bedford, New York’s oHHo brings wine-country restraint to THC seltzers: Elderflower + Pink Grapefruit, Blood Orange + Pomegranate, and Cherry Lime at roughly 20 calories a can, in 3mg, 5mg, and 10mg strengths balanced with CBD and CBG. Nano-emulsification keeps the onset quick, and the flavors read more aperitif than soda.

Shop oHHo with code LMM15.

Delta: Best Cannabis Water

Founded in 2020 as America’s first hemp THC drink brand, Delta Beverages now claims the category’s top spot by volume. The zero-calorie, zero-sugar seltzers are the entry point, but the reason to care is the rest of the lineup: Delta Cannabis Water pairs delta-9 live resin with CBD, and the Blood Orange Vanilla Cannabis Spirit, at 10mg THC + 2mg CBD per serving, covers the cocktail cart. Nano-emulsion onset in 10 to 20 minutes.

Shop Delta with code DB25 for 25% off.

The 2026 Reality Check

Hemp-derived THC beverages roughly doubled from about $630 million in 2024 to over $1.1 billion in 2025, per Brightfield Group, in a category that barely existed in 2018. The alcohol switch is measurable too: 47.8% of THC drink consumers report drinking less alcohol since they started, per Brightfield’s Q3 2025 consumer survey. Inside dispensaries, BDSA pegs beverages at roughly 1% of cannabis dollars but growing 15% a year, with low-dose formats growing fastest. The catch: federal hemp rules are set to restrict hemp-derived THC in November 2026 unless carve-outs land, and states keep moving in both directions. Availability will change under this list’s feet, which is exactly why I publish weekly.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best THC drink in 2026?

CANN is the best THC drink for most people in 2026: a consistent 2mg microdose, cocktail-grade flavors, and nationwide availability. Cycling Frog wins on value at $20 per six-pack, and Cantrip covers experienced users with doses up to 50mg.

How fast do THC drinks kick in?

Most quality THC beverages act in 10 to 25 minutes thanks to fast-acting emulsions. In my testing, Keef hit in 13 minutes, Cycling Frog in 15, and Wunder in 25, far faster than the 60 to 90 minutes typical of traditional edibles.

Are THC drinks legal to buy online?

Hemp-derived THC drinks ship to most U.S. states under federal hemp rules, but regulations are shifting through 2026 and vary by state. Check your state’s current rules before ordering.

What dose should a beginner start with?

Start with 2 to 5mg of THC, which covers one CANN, one WIMS packet, or half of most 10mg seltzers. Wait at least 30 minutes before drinking more.

Do THC drinks show up on a drug test?

Yes. Drug tests screen for THC metabolites, and your body processes hemp-derived delta-9 the same way it processes dispensary THC. If you’re subject to testing, skip THC drinks entirely.

How long do the effects last?

Expect 2 to 4 hours from a standard 5 to 10mg drink, peaking around the one-hour mark. That’s roughly half the ride of a traditional edible, which is part of why these work for social settings.

What’s the difference between THC drinks and edibles?

Speed. Drinks use emulsified THC that absorbs in 10 to 25 minutes, while gummies take 60 to 90 minutes and linger longer. Drinks let you dose in real time: sip, wait, decide.

Can I mix THC drinks with alcohol?

I don’t recommend it. Alcohol increases THC absorption, so the combination hits harder than either alone. Most people buying these drinks are replacing alcohol anyway.

How many calories are in THC drinks?

Seltzers like Wynk and Cycling Frog run 0 to 30 calories per can. Sodas like Keef and Looner land closer to a regular soft drink. If you’re tracking macros, stay in the seltzer aisle.

What is the strongest THC drink?

Of everything I’ve tested, Cantrip’s extra-strength line and Crescent 9 seltzers top out at 50mg per can. Those are experienced-consumer doses. Most people should never start there.

What is the best THC drink for beginners?

CANN. The 2 to 3mg dose is forgiving, the flavor is the most approachable in the category, and it’s the easiest to find in stores. WIMS packets work too, because you control the concentration.
